Music Library Settings

Music Library settings give you control over Tag types and settings, and a special feature allowing MUSICMATCH to update itself with songs newly added to your computer.

If ID3V1 tag doesn't match ID3V2 tag:

When the checkbox is checked, you will be asked what format to use for a track before you edit the tag. If you uncheck this box either the format selected to the right will be used.

Convert tags when adding songs with old format tags - Checking this box will convert ID3V1 (old) tags, to ID3V2 (newer) tag format, prior to editing.

Library Auto Load

If you download music to a specific folder on your computer, MUSICMATCH can "watch" that folder for new additions, then add those additions to your Music Library automatically.

1. Click the Watch Folder button.

2. Browse for the folder where you download new music too. Select that folder and click OK.

The folder will now be watched by MUSICMATCH for new updates.
